Honey House Candle Kit Instructions
Our wax kits are a great way to reuse your honey jar after you're done! Our Natural Candle kits are made with Bees, Apricot, and Coconut wax and the scents are all toxin-free!
Before you begin
Prep Your Honey House Honey Jar (Clean, dry, and add warning sticker to the bottom)
Step 1
Empty the Container
Remove the lid and take everything out except for your scented wax from the melt-and-pour container.
Step 2
First Melt
Pop your container in the microwave for 1 minute to start the melting process.
Step 3
Wick Prep
While your wax is warming up, get your wick ready by peeling off the protective backing from the sticky base.
Step 4
Center the Wick
This is your moment to be precise! Place that wick right in the middle of your jar - it's the secret to a perfect, even burn.
Step 5
First Stir
Give your partially melted wax a good stir with the provided stick.
Step 6
Complete the Melt
Add more melting time in 30-second bursts until your wax is completely liquid.
Step 7
Careful Removal
Time to get your wax out of the microwave - remember, that container will be hot!
Step 8
Final Stir
One last stir to ensure everything's perfectly blended.
Step 9
The Perfect Pour
Pour your melted wax into the jar and use the pin to keep your wick straight and centered.
Pro Tip!
The Double Pour Method (Optional)
Want that professional finish? Pour just over half the melted wax first, let it harden, then remelt and pour the rest. This prevents sinkholes and creates a smooth top. (A heat gun or hair dryer works great too!)
Step 10
Settling Time
Let your candle sit still until it's completely hardened.
Step 11
Curing Period
The 24-hour wait begins! Let your candle cure for a full day before lighting.
Step 12
The Final Touch
Trim that wick to ¼ inch before your first light - now you're ready for the perfect burn!
Nice Job! Your very own handmade candle! 🕯️✨
