Spooky Halloween Cocktails with Honey House Clover Honey

 

This Halloween, we're stirring up something wickedly delicious! Our Honey House Clover Honey adds a natural sweetness that perfectly balances these haunting libations. Each cocktail features our signature honey-dipped red rims, creating a delightfully spooky effect that'll have your guests talking. From the dark and mysterious Black Widow with its wine-based potion, to the eerily creative Elle Driver's Left Eye featuring a spine-chilling lychee eyeball, to the blood-curdling Blood Orange Paloma – these cocktails are sure to be the highlight of your Halloween gathering.



Black Widow


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Honey House Clover Honey
  • 3 drops red food dye
  • 2-4 blackberries
  • 3 oz dark red wine (Moonex)
  • 1.5 oz sparkling water (Blackberry or Blood Orange)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Muddle your blackberries until smashed. Set aside
  2. In a shaker, combine ice and the dark red wine. Close top and shake until the shaker is cold to the touch.
  3. Next, prepare the glass by mixing the 2 tbsp of honey and 3 drops of red food dye on a small plate. Stir the honey and food dye until consistent in color. Dip the rim of the glass in the red honey in a circular motion until the entire rim is evenly coated.
  4. Add muddled blackberries to the bottom of the prepared glass. Add ice.
  5. Pour the chilled wine from the shaker into the glass. Top off with sparkling water

Optional

Decorate glass with fake spiders and garnish with rosemary sprig and a blackberry



Elle Driver's Left Eye


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Honey House Clover Honey
  • 3 drops red food dye
  • 1.5 oz green apple liquor
  • .75 oz vodka
  • 1.5 oz sparkling apple cider or Ginger Beer
  • Ice
  • 1 blueberry
  • 1 lychee

Instructions

  1. Prepare the eyeball garnish. Insert a blueberry into the opening of the Lychee fruit. Set aside.
  2. In a shaker add ice Green Apple Liquour and vodka. Close top and shake until the shaker is cold to the touch.
  3. Next, prepare the glass by mixing the 2 tbsp of honey and 3 drops of red food dye on a small plate. Stir the honey and food dye until consistent in color. Dip the rim of the glass in the red honey in a circular motion until the entire rim is evenly coated.
  4. Add lychee fruit eyeball garnish to the bottom of the glass. Top with a few cubes of ice. Next pour the chilled apple liquor from the shaker into the glass. Top with sparkling apple cider.

Optional

Garnish the rim with an apple slice.

Blood Orange Paloma


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Honey House Clover Honey
  • 3 drops red food dye
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1.5 oz Paloma Cocktail Mix
  • 1.5 oz Blood Orange Italian Soda
  • 0.75 oz fresh squeezed orange or lemon juice
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a shaker combine ice tequila, paloma cocktail mix and fresh squeezed orange. Close top and shake until the shaker is cold to the touch.
  2. Next, prepare the glass by mixing the 2 tbsp of honey and 3 drops of red food dye on a small plate. Stir the honey and food dye until consistent in color. Dip the rim of the glass in the red honey in a circular motion until the entire rim is evenly coated.
  3. Add a bit of ice to the prepared glass. Pour chilled cocktail over ice. Top off with Blood Orange Italian Soda.

Garnish rim with a slice of Blood Orange
